Visakhapatnam: District collector N Yuvaraj said on Friday that the state government was focussing on ensuring double digit growth in Andhra Pradesh and to achieve that, extensive development works would have to be taken up in Visakhapatnam. The collector said this at a stakeholders meet here on Friday. It was the collective responsibility of the state, private players and individuals to work towards this goal, he added.
He also added that 15 sub-committees had been appointed to ensure that the development works can be taken up on time and in an organised manner. Yuvaraj also pointed that the state had identified huge plots of land in the district for various projects including the Logistics Park, which would be set up on 400 acres, the Sagarmala project and the International Airport project. Work would soon begin on the Anakapalli-Anandapuram highway stretch, he said.
