Visakhapatnam: In an attempt to provide a fillip to skilled technical resources in the state, Miracle Software in association with other companies is planning to launch ‘AP Cloud’ program to provide training in digital transformation skills to graduates.
Addressing mediapersons in the city on Saturday, Miracle Software CEO Prasad Lokam said the AP Cloud program will train 1 lakh persons over a period of 18 months. He said the program would be launched on August 5 free of cost for graduates from AP.
According to Lokam, digital transformation skills would involve training in various new technologies including analytics, cloud, mobility and social media. He said each participant of the program would undergo around 400 hours of training in various digital transformation skills creating an ecosystem of skilled workforce specialists. Specialists from abroad would also be roped in for the program, he said.
Lokam said the program would be spread across all the districts of AP and taken up in different universities and colleges. He also said ‘AP Cloud’ would be a certification-based program which would create a huge talent pool in the state.
